Tennessee Athletics confirms the remarkable fan mark behind Kalen DeBoer's viral moment

Tennessee's fans were part of the story in the win over Alabama, and now there is an official number to prove it. Tennessee Athletics has confirmed the incredible mark the Vol faithful set during the game, a figure the story says helps explain why Alabama head coach Kalen DeBoer went viral while his team was in Knoxville.

Big crowds are a point of pride at Tennessee, but a mark verified by the university itself carries extra weight. It gives Vol fans documented bragging rights to go along with the win, and it sends a message to every coach who brings a team into that stadium: the environment is not just loud by reputation, it is loud on the record.
