Heupel Opens South Carolina Week as Tennessee Turns Its Focus Forward

Alabama is in the past. Josh Heupel opened South Carolina week by turning Tennessee's attention to the next opponent, kicking off preparations for the matchup with the Gamecocks.

The start of game week marks the shift from celebrating one of the program's biggest wins to the work of backing it up. Tennessee's focus now moves fully to South Carolina and the challenge waiting on the schedule.

How a team responds after an emotional high often defines its season. Heupel's job this week is making sure the Volunteers are locked in on the Gamecocks rather than still savoring the Crimson Tide.
